Who we are

Profinity Wellness is a trading name of Dr Tim Pearce Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 10010939. That company is the data controller for the information described here. The clinic is at Cotton Court, Middlewich Road, Holmes Chapel, Cheshire CW4 7ET, and our registered office is Clarke Nicklin House, Brooks Drive, Cheadle Royal Business Park, Cheadle SK8 3TD.

If you have any question about your information, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email info@profinitywellness.com and we will come back to you.

What this website collects

This site is deliberately simple. There is no account to create, nothing to buy online, and no advertising or tracking pixels running at the time of writing.

Two things collect information:

·The waiting list. While the clinic is being built, the only form on this site is the waiting list. It collects your email address, and optionally your name and a short message. We also record which page you signed up from and the date, so we know who joined early.
·Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, in order to serve the site and keep it secure.

Waiting-list entries are stored by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, on our behalf. They are used to email you about the clinic opening and for nothing else. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe, and asking us to remove you takes effect immediately.

If you email us instead, we hold whatever you tell us for the same purposes.

A word about health information

Please don't put detailed medical information into the website form. It isn't the right place for it, and the right place is a conversation with a clinician. If you do include something about your health, we treat it as special category data under Article 9 of the UK GDPR and handle it under Article 9(2)(h), the provision of healthcare by a professional bound by a duty of confidentiality. Clinical records created once you become a patient are governed by our clinical records policy, not by this page.

Joining the waiting list means we email you about the clinic opening and nothing else. If we ever want to send you something different, we will ask first.

Who else sees it

Your information stays with our team, and with a small number of suppliers who help us run the clinic: our website host, our email provider, and our patient records and booking system we will use once the clinic opens. Each is bound by a contract that allows them to use your data only on our instructions.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where there is a serious concern about someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become appointments are deleted within twelve months. Clinical records are kept for the period required of healthcare providers in the UK. Anything else is kept only while it is needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

·Show you a copy of the information we hold about you.
·Correct anything that is wrong.
·Delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it.
·Restrict or object to how we use it, including any use based on legitimate interests.
·Provide it in a portable format, or withdraw consent you previously gave.

Ask us and we will respond within one month, free of charge. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Cookies

At the time of writing this site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, so you are not asked to consent to any. If that changes, most likely if we add website analytics, we will ask for your consent before anything non-essential is set, and update this page.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.

Rather just ask us?

Any question about your information gets a straight answer from a person, not a form.
